Please read these terms carefully before making a donation
All donations made through Mercy Direct are non-refundable. Once processed, we cannot return your contribution as it is immediately allocated to the case you selected or to our general fund.
If a case you've donated to becomes fully funded, is withdrawn, or cannot proceed for any reason, your donation will be redirected to a similar urgent case. We will notify you of any such changes via the email address provided during donation.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only necessary information to process your donation and provide updates on the cases you support.
When you opt to cover transaction fees, you help ensure that 100% of your base donation amount goes directly to the cause you're supporting. These fees typically range from 1.5% to 3% depending on the payment method.
For recurring donations, you authorize Mercy Direct to automatically charge your payment method at the frequency you've selected (weekly, monthly, or yearly). You may cancel recurring donations at any time through your donor account.
When donating on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have permission to use their personal information for notification purposes. We will only use this information to send the notification you've requested.
